Shards Guide (4.0)

This is a general shard guide, to tell you what they do and how to obtain them.


Fire shard
You use these to upgrade your basic gear (tier 1, from the equipment room) to Tier 2.
These drop from nearly any monster, generally about a 20% chance for a drop. depends what you kill.


Water Shard
You use these to upgrade your Tier 2 gear to tier 3.
You can obtain these from Vampire Brides(1 per kill, 100% chance), but also have a small drop chance from strong monsters,
such as werewolves, slave torturers etc.


Earth Shard
You use these to upgrade your Tier 3 gear to tier 4.
dropped by : Plagued one, Undead Dragon, Blightwalker, plaguesmith, zombie lord, sea serpent, ariz the bat king, giant ox, grim reaper and other strong monsters


Glowing Shard
You use these to upgrade your Tier 4 gear to tier 5.
Dropped by : The forsaken one (60+ with a group)


Ice Shard
You use these to upgrade your Tier 5 gear to tier 6.
Dropped by : the blacksmith (80+ to kill with a group)


Magma Shard
You use these to upgrade your Tier 6 gear to tier 7.
Moist giraffes pet (175+ with a group )



Sacred Shard
You use these to upgrade your Tier 7 gear to tier 8.

Gj Azile, i didnt even know about the "Sacred shard" ;o

Tho it is a bit irritating with the pink background.

well thats just a screenshot of the sprite from the map editor, they all have pink backgrounds :<. i will change them when i get a screenshot of them ingame.

Yeah i kinda understood that.. U can tho photoshop or use like paint.
Cause they are same "spirit" just different colour, so u can cut and paste ..

I made a new spirit for magma.. Cause magma and glowing shard look the same..
